Holistic therapy in Santa Monica for women ready to come home to themselves

Finding calm in the middle of Santa Monica’s buzz can feel nearly impossible when you’re carrying anxiety, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. I offer holistic therapy for women in Santa Monica who are ready to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and begin the journey back to themselves. With over a decade of experience, I support this community through trauma-informed, somatic practices for emotional healing and nervous system regulation. Even in a place known for wellness, true emotional support can be hard to find. My therapy space is designed to be different: quiet, grounded, and centered on your truth.

How it works

01

Start where you are—not where you think you “should” be

In our first call, we’ll gently explore what your body has been holding. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, emotionally flooded, or simply exhausted from carrying it all, this is a space to be seen, not fixed. You don’t need to come with a plan. Just come as you are.

02

No scripts. Just what your body needs

Each session follows your body’s pace, not a checklist. Whether you're navigating nervous system dysregulation, trauma patterns, or grief, we’ll co-create a healing rhythm that honors your lived experience. You’re not broken. You’re human.

Where science meets soul

My work integrates evidence-based methods like Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, and Relational Gestalt with intuitive, body-led care. These practices help you rewire long-held survival patterns and build deep, sustainable safety from within. Healing doesn’t have to feel like a hustle.

  • Somatic therapy

That constant motion of daily life can disconnect us from what our bodies are really saying. Somatic therapy helps you drop back in. We’ll use breath, movement, and nervous system awareness to gently unpack trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm. Over time, you’ll build tools for regulation that actually work in your daily life.

  • Relational Gestalt therapy

Relationships often hold the key to our deepest wounds and our greatest healing. Through Relational Gestalt, we’ll explore the dynamics that shaped your emotional world. Together, we’ll create a space where all parts of you are welcome, including the ones you were taught to silence.

  • Nervous system regulation

When your nervous system is stuck in fight, flight, or freeze, even small tasks can feel impossible. In therapy, you’ll learn how to track your body’s cues and build real-time tools to support regulation. This work is especially helpful for high-achieving women who have lived in survival mode for too long.

  • Somatic trauma

Many of us carry invisible storms inside. Somatic trauma therapy helps you process past pain without reactivating it. Through slow, body-led work, we’ll support your nervous system in releasing trauma safely and sustainably.

  • Sound meditation for anxiety

Anxiety often hijacks your breath, your thoughts, and your sense of safety. Sound meditation gives your body a new language to release tension and find calm. This is more than a relaxation technique; it's an evidence-backed practice that helps regulate your nervous system through vibrational healing.

My practice welcomes women from all over the Westside from Venice and Marina del Rey to Brentwood and Pacific Palisades. Whether you're walking the Third Street Promenade or catching your breath near Palisades Park, you're not far from a space that sees you, hears you, and holds you.

Chelsey has been a mentor to me in many ways. She has a warm, patient, thoughtful presence that is consistent and unmoving, and the ability to closely contact whatever arises in a calm and non judgemental way that allows for connection. Highly recommend!

Haley Winer

Chelsey and I recently led a group and I was in awe of her ability to hold space, give others feedback, and stay regulated throughout the course. Chelsey was a supportive, caring, and wonderful co-facilitator. I learned so much from her!

Julia Willinger

She's phenomenal. I've had a few different therapists during my mental health journey, but Chelsea is the first one to actually make me feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable. She reminds me that it's okay to acknowledge my feelings, instead of bottling them up in order to process the situation that brought that particular feeling up. I spent a long time feeling invisible; my sessions with Chelsea remind me that I'm here, and I matter. It feels good to feel seen and understood.
